This isn’t Sparta.. This is Madness!

This might seem weird, absurd, irrelevant or, in the worst case, arrogant, but I have to say that the feat was neither ordinary, nor a common sight. You may consider it a mathematical impossibility, scientific improbability, philosophical fantasy, awkward idiosyncrasy or the height of creativity, nevertheless, it is true – even I couldn’t believe it for a while.

I all happened when everyone got bored with playing the map dust2 and everyone wanted a change. We switched to de_inferno. It was a first time experience for some and it was easier to forget the passages than to remember them. All the amateurs ran here and there just hunting for the enemy and veterans used to head to the bomb sites using the shortest possible paths. (Un)fortunately, I was in the random explorers category and to make things worse I was a counter terrorist. I used to encounter the enemy early and die a sudden death or get lost into the deepest curves, only to reach the bomb site after the bomb was planted a half-minute ago.

Once, I was just wandering stupidly through some previously unexplored territory (perhaps I just went to the t spawn). Then, I took a more known path, looking for enemies all the time. It was a junction of two lanes and I chose to turn left. Alas… wtf.. the whole of the terrorist faction had crossed me without noticing me and vice-versa. Thunder(sniper) took cover beside a big crate and the rest of them turned right to head towards the bomb site. I took the opportunity and crossed the crate and turned left and placed a ‘right-mouse-click’ knife stab intoThunder’s neck. Thunder was least expecting it. He hastily fired a shot from his ‘one click do it all’ sniper. But, the stab was able to create enough entropy in his shot, It missed my head, and keeping in veiw the reputataion of Mr. Thunder, I believe it must have missed the mark by just a whisker. Ooops, The Magnum recoiled enough to allow me to make another shot at him…. STAB.. KILL-1!

Ecstatic with this exploit, I moved towards the rest of the pack. They were unaware that I was behind them. ‘Why look back when Thunder is guarding your back?’. Just then they encountered the  Khushiloverboy. They all started to jostle beside another big crate. Alas, no crate is big enough to cover 4 slim terrorists. One of them was out of cover, I took the opportunity and attacked the poor chap’s back with another ‘right-mouse-click’ knife stab.. KILL-2! It was enough for him. Ishan was down. Next, I immediately broke into the wolf pack which was by then exchanging bullets with Khushiloverboy. Now, On my left was the crate and on all other directions were enemies. I frantically left clicked twice, then a right click was enough to do away with the guy on the right…KILL-3. R.I.P. – unnamed. By then, the bad news had caught fire. I turned left.. raring for another shot. OMG, a Maverick staring down at me.. ready to headshot me anytime. Just then in a swift motion the tip of the gun went up… RELOAD… Another two ‘right-mouse-click’ shots and…… Walled.KILL4 – Bhokaal was no more. I went up with joy, and received a headshot courtesy Return of the Don. Khushiloverboy finished the round by nutralising Return of Don.

I reassured that I wasn’t dreaming.
